How Soil & Building grew from a one-man business to an international player
In 2012, Jeroen de Lely founded Soil & Building with the idea of managing earthworks. Today, he also manages a 35-person team, because Soil & Building now focuses on more than just management. We have grown into a fully fledged construction partner for earthworks and infrastructure works. That development started with the purchase of a first excavator, to take some of the earthworks in hand ourselves, and grew into a company that is still growing today and is active not only in Belgium, but also in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark and Sweden.
The original focus on preparing industrial sites for construction is still there, but has been widened considerably. Today we offer the full range of earthworks and infrastructure works for very diverse development projects. With 20 years of experience in house, soil contamination and demolition works hold no secrets for us.
Our team regularly crosses the Belgian border for projects in the Netherlands and Luxembourg, and we have a local project manager active in Denmark and Sweden. Over the years, Soil & Building grew organically from a sole proprietorship into a successful company with approximately 35 employees.
