Preparing your site for construction with earthworks
As soon as your construction process gets under way, earthworks are the first step. With our modern fleet of machinery we prepare your site for every construction phase that follows.
What are earthworks?
Our earthworks crews make large sites and industrial estates ready to build on by site preparation, soil remediation, levelling and the excavation and moving of soil. Without earthworks you simply cannot start putting up a building; it is a crucial step in the construction process. By stabilising the ground and bringing it up to level, you get a strong base to build on, one that can carry the heavy machinery the work requires.
Collaborate with Soil & Building for your earthworks
The first phase sets the tone for the rest of your construction project. If you have your earthworks carried out by our team, you can trust that the work will not only be executed well, but also completed on time. Our clients have been relying on this for years: our strict completion dates. This way, you can proceed to the next phase completely on schedule, without delay.
Our approach to precision earthworks
Step 1
Plan
Everything starts with a good plan. That is why, based on the architectural plan, a survey plan and a site visit, we draw up a detailed layout plan, taking the measured ground levels into account. Among other things, it shows the cut and fill balance and earthmoving works at a glance.
Step 2
Execution
Soil & Building gets to work on your site with a modern, extensive fleet of machinery: excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, rollers, dump trucks and graders. During the execution phase we strip the topsoil and build a solid subgrade for heavy machinery.
Step 3
Monitoring
Project managers and foremen steer the process day by day and keep an eye on the schedule, which lets us be able to strictly meet the completion date. Designs and plans are followed closely, with project managers working hand in hand with the site teams and able to count on flexibility within the team.
“Working with detailed plans ensures everything is clear. For us and for the client. This way, we can avoid unnecessary misunderstandings. Additionally, it comes in very handy for later modifications or expansions.”
